Week 5 of The Frazzled Female
We were suppose to discuss Week 5 last Thursday night but God had other plans for all of us.. It was a small group and we really started talking about who Christ is and what HE has done and what HE is going to do..and it went from HIS birth to HIS death..It was amazing how he put those certain people in that room that night and how is orchestrated that conversation between all of us. I am so inspired and so encouraged by each one of you ladies you just don't know! I love how we can ask questions and share our hearts if it is positive or negative.. I am so excited to see him building friendships between all of us.. That has been my prayer from the very beginning that not only would we all grow closer to GOD and seek his word and his ways but that he would also just let us all grow closer to each other and build strong, christian friendships! Ones that we know that no matter what we are going to be there for each other to encourage one another, support one another, hold each other accountable. to laugh with, to cry with.. to pray with! and of course have our chocolate moments together:) I look forward to seeing all of you on the 26th for week 5 I am FRAZZLED.. I am sure after spring break we will all need this one:) Love you all and if you need anything please call or e-mail me! I am praying daily for each one of you!!

Week4 ~ People are Getting on My Nerves
How many of you can say that I got on your nerves because I am so late in posting this week.. I am so sorry it has just been one of those weeks:( Well last weeks title was People are getting on my nerves and I am positive that we can all relate to that phrase.. Because TRUTH be told People DO get on our nerves.. it can be your spouse, your kids, your relatives, your friends. your boss and coworkers or just strangers.. But people do get on our nerves and that is normal.. The lesson we learned though was how to treat people who get on our nerves...The memory verse was Romans 12:18 "If possible, on your part, live at peace with everyone" Day 1 ~ Living Peacefully, our focus was Finding peace with self leads to peace with others... We read the story in John 14:1-27 and it was the story in the bible where JESUS gathers all his disciples together and then tells them he is leaving with no explanations just "I am leaving to go prepare a place for you".. Just a few words can totally throw you off track and disrupt your peace. Jesus words had this effect on HIS disciples as He told them this, we talked about how they must have felt or how we feel when something happens like that.. some of the words were shocked, hurt, confused, attacked, betrayed, sad....and then we go to" What About Me?" It is so true when something like this happens we are all about SELF... what about me? What is going to happen to me?What should I do? Me,Me, Me.. Did you know that SELF lies at the heart of many problems we face in dealing with people?? Jesus offers his peace to us.John 14:27 says Peace I leave with you: (My) own peace I now give you and bequeath to you.Not as the world gives do I give to you. Do not let your hearts be troubled, neither let them be afraid. Stop allowing yourselves to be agitated and disturbed;and do not permit yourselves to be fearful and intimidated and cowardly and unsettled. Jesus flat out says we do not have to be afraid we do not have to be troubled, we do not have to be troubled,He has given us HIS Peace!!In the Book of Romans is a personal letter from Paul to the church in Rome. Paul addresses the differences in people. We may have different spiritual gifts, different behavioural styles, and different ideas of right and wrong. But, Paul encourages believers to aggressively reach out to others through Christ's love regardless of differences..I encourage YOU that the next time you run into someone who frustrates you, make appoint to be especially kind to that person, perhaps that person needs to be shown kindness.. We truly need to get SELF out the way and consider the other persons needs. You have no idea what others are going through. Each person you meet may carry a heavy burden and my favorite saying is You May Be the closest thing to CHRIST that person has ever seen so shine his light! It is so easy to bless those who you are nice to you and that you love, on the other hand if someone is being mean to you or has treated you wrong, hand it over to Jesus Christ and let him handle it for you, it take supernatural powers!Just remember that when you accepted Jesus Christ as your personal savior,he cleaned you up and filled you with HIS righteousness. He knows your personality and He knows the problems you experience. Remember if you focus on HIM by worshipping HIM,loving HIM, and seeking HIS guidance, HE will empower you to get along with others-no matter how difficult they may be..I challenge YOU to see people through Christ's eyes and seek his wisdom to show you how to treat others, oh HE will and it will be the right way!!

Week 3... I Don't Have Enough Time!
The title of this weeks lesson was I don't have enough time.. Seriously, how many times have you said that phrase? I know I probably say it everyday.. Well, this week our memory verse was John 14:1 Your heart must not be troubled.Believe in God; believe also in ME.. This week I really encouraged all the ladies and myself to make daily list of everything you have to do and then pray over every single thing..Not only will your day go smoothly when you lift these items to the Lord but to pray over your to do list is a way of offering your entire day -even the little things to him. Day 1 God Is In Control ~ Focus on God instead of your circumstances. We read the story of Jochebed(Moses Mom) and how she trusted the Lord to take care of him and he did in so many ways..Meeting Life's challenges In the story we read we found out that Jocebed relied on God. Secondly, she was persistent and her firm faith gave her the strength she needed to do what GOD called her to do.Remember it takes tremendous faith, discipline and persistence to manage your time Gods way.We need to really seek his counsel about what we do with the time he has given us. Just as he did for Jochebed,he will reward you with his strength, his joy and his provision. Day 2 - the title of the day was called MORE.... I have to laugh because not only do we always say we don't have enough time but we always ask for MORE:)Remember that making time with JESUS a priority will lessen the pressure of time issues..Have you ever heard about Treasures in Heaven? When you spend time with the Lord, in his word and just being with him and loving others like he would and doing acts of kindness for others, when you do those things God will reward you with treasures in heaven.. I love this quote that was written in our book and it says" You will not have more time if you make Jesus a priority in your life, but the time you have will be MORE!God will give us what we need to complete each task, What a divine thing he does for us when we spend time with him.I loved when Martha complained about Mary not helping her around the house and he said Mary has chosen the right choice and it will not be taken away from her.. When we make a daily appointment with the Lord, we will experience tremendous blessings to deal with our daily activities.Satan will use the " I don't have enough time" attack to try and keep us away from our bible study and our prayer time. But, it is our responsibility to make sure nothing stands in the way of our time with Jesus especially when we don't have time!I am sure you are like me and many others, you really long to experience his blessing as a Mom,as wife, at work, in friendships and even cleaning your house.. I encourage you that if you long for his blessing in these areas make a daily list and pray over each one and you will will definitely turn your Martha day into a Mary one:) Day 3~ The Core of the Problem. We focused on what God wants us to do right now! Have you ever had your plate so full and said YES to everything and served in this area and really felt like was God was not blessing you in some of those areas? Well I know personally!! I know many ladies who have filled their lives with too many good things! Many Christian women, swallowed up in an endless array of duties, responsibilities and service miss out on God's best for them. All of this often steals their creativity, their play-time,and their joy, it will leave you physically, emotionally,,mentally and spiritually depleted. In the book of Isaiah God invited all who are thirsty,to all who are not satisfied with life,to all who are too busy to enjoy HIS peace and joy. I assure you if you are anxious, pressured and depleted by the demands placed on your life right now, GOD has something better in mind for you. Too little time is not actually the problem. The core of the problem may be having to much to do!God does not want us to do "EVERY THING" good. He can tell you what you should do if you just ask for his direction and guidance.. Day 4~Blessed By God~ We talked about comparing ourselves to others, I think we are all guilty of that and it starts very young.. We are always thinking someone else is prettier, someone else is always happy, her house is always clean, she dresses to the nines, her hair is so cute, she is so orderly we find ourselves like that all the time and sometimes it is not even a jealousy issue, we just find ourselves wanting to be like that... The great thing is......Did God tell you to compare yourself to other ladies? NO! At times God may give us a example in another person, He may speak to you through the words or the lifestyle of that person, drawing you to His character.. When it becomes jealousy and self pity that is nothing but Satan playing games with you. read Provers 31: 10 ~31 WOW!!! how I long to be like this woman in many ways but I know that God has a specific plan for me at this precise time in my life just like he has for you.. You can definitely become the ideal woman- not because of what you can do but because of who HE is.. if you look back at the scripture the most worthy and admirable description of the ideal woman is that she FEARED GOD! As you worship GOD,read HIS word and seek HIS counsel, GOD will tell you what things should be a part of your life.Day 5~ My Time Belongs To God... Managing your time is a big part of managing yourself. "Managing Self" means to do what I can do with me when I can not do anything about the circumstances surrounding me" Read Psalms 27. Set Me High Upon a Rock at times I cry out to my heavenly father to set me high upon a rock and come get me and set me above my circumstances, bringing me closer to him..When my focus shifts from HIM, my energy is divided and my stress is multiplied. As long as HE is central to my thinking and my commitment, I experience his joy and his peace no matter what else is going on in my life. When you keep your focus on Jesus Christ, HE fills you with a peace and joy that the world cannot give!!Hope to see you all on Thursday night, the study is People are getting on my nerves! ha ha!! now tell me how many times have you said that! I just finding myself cracking up at the title because I am GUILTY!!! I can not wait to see what he teaches me this week! Love you all and praying for each one of you daily!!

Week 2.....A Less than Positive Attitude
`Well, this week was really a eye opener!! We talked about being POSITIVE instead of NEGATIVE... The word positive just sounds better when you say it:). The verse this week was Proverbs 16:24 and it says "Pleasant words are a honeycomb, sweet to the soul and healing to the bones.. If it is that easy then why are we so negative? I can honestly say I have never had one day where nothing but POSITIVE thoughts, words are actions took place.. how sad is that? and I am afraid that if it did I would not know how to react.. I would be like whats wrong? that is so bad!! Gods word says pleasant words are a honeycomb... sweet to the soul and healing to the bones.. come on.. how easy is that to please him!! just pleasant words.. try it and tell me how your life flows for just 24 hours try it!! see how people respond.. will they look at you like you are crazy or will it be a domino effect? On day 1 we read the story in Genesis about God asking Abraham to be obedient and move and he did with a positive attitude.. If we are obedient and follow Gods direction he will bless us!Be a faithful servant and watch him work. Day 2 was a good teaching tool the title is You become what you think.. what a good lesson for all of us even to teach our kids! This came out of Philippians 4: 4-9 verse 9 says The things you have learned and received and heard and seen in me. Practice these things and the PEACE of GOD will be with you.On page 26 different titles were listed and we talked about how we could be more positive in these areas of our lives. one was wife and a few of us said that we needed to be more encouraging and more supporting vocally with our husbands, the next was kids and some said they needed to be more positive and uplifting when their children were right , to co workers be more christian like to negative coworkers..I think in this conversation things were shared with one another and it was a time of feeling like yeah! I am not alone in these feelings~~ In different situations in our everyday life routine, we need to dwell on the POSITIVE instead of the NEGATIVE and replace the NEGATIVE with a POSITIVE!!Remember if you dwell on negative things, you will spout negative words and have negative facial expressions and body gestures. You can not think negatively and expect to act positively!!!Remember to become the POSITIVE person that GOD wants YOU to be YOU must first examine your negative thinking!to end Day 2 remember to REJOICE IN THE LORD ALWAYS. I WILL SAY IT AGAIN, REJOICE!!! Philippians 4:4....On Day 3 we talked about The POWER of GOD and how when we focus on GODS power in our lives he will help us grow a positive attitude~ You need to remember that GODS power is available to you at all times!Even the strongest of believers tend to forget that the power of Jesus Christ living within us enables us to be more CHRISTLIKE..Ephesians 1:20 tell us that He demonstrated this power in the Messiah by raising HIM from the dead and seating Him at HIS right hand in the heavens.. Think about that if he can do something like that, making you more positive is nothing:)Try to stay focused this week on HIS mighty power and remember it is already yours as you are his precious daughter!!Day 4 is the The Gift of his POWER .. Think about when you are having one of those days where nothing seems to go the right way and you get stressed and overwhelmed and frustrated and everyone you come in contact with gets on your last nerve.. Did you know that Satan is beind that every thought, word, look, action? pretty scary huh? Well the reason for that is because he loves to distract us and these distractions keep us from experiencing the peace of GOD which leads to a positive attitude and glorifying our Father.. Ephesians also states that because of GODS great love for us, we have been made alive in Christ and this new life of ours is a gift from GOD`..` Remember to give all your worries daily and he will take care of it.. Because believe me WORRY is nothing but Satan and giving it over to GOD that has all the power above all else it will be out of your hands and you will fall into his!! and now to Day 5 Being Positive in Negative circumstances.. wow! this is a hard one!! It is so hard to be positive when you are in a situation where everything is negative...God understands our inability and even our resistance to being positive when everything inside us feels negative. He knows that in our weakness we are not able to overlook all of life's negatives ad immediately jump into a positive lifestyle. He does not want us to ignore the facts if the negative situation but, he does want us to rely on HIS power to get us through one step at a time!!There are times when God may ask you to be POSITIVE and hopeful about a situation simply because he is GOD and HE is in charge of your life..God wants us to believe him first and without knowing the outcome of our situation!! WALK BY FAITH NOT BY SIGHT!! Our part is to believe and sometimes GOD wants us to mentally, emotionally and physically back off from a situation allowing HIM to reveal his glory!!`I pray that each one of you will have a more POSITIVE attitude and rely on GODS POWER.. I pray that when a NEGATIVE thought word or action comes your way that you will think twice before instantly responding or reacting! Think about this last statement HOW WOULD GOD RESPOND?? Good luck to all of you , I definitely know it will be a challenge for me!:) if you ever hear me say I am gonna snap.... run!!!!!!!! I am praying for all of you and can not wait to meet with yall again next Thursday.. Love you all!!

Week 1
Oh my goodness where do I start!! I am just amazed how God just makes himself known in our bible study! Last night was a incredible, convicting lesson, we talked about well, the first day was Mary Chose the One Best Thing Will I? and it was the story of Martha and Mary and how Martha was so distracted when Jesus came to visit that she didn't even sit down and Mary sat at his feet and listened with her her whole being and Martha got mad and told Jesus to get on to her but instead he reprimanded Martha and told her Mary was doing the right thing.. ouch!! But we all talked about who we were? Were we Martha's or Marys? Some were surprised that some were Martha's:) but that's OK...It is all our goal to be Mary's and hopefully we can be!! Day 2 talked about The Journey of Intimacy with Jesus! Ok we are still talking about Mary and Martha on this day and one of the questions was Have you ever felt that identifying with Mary is unrealistic for YOU? Alot of answers were yes but I long to be Mary so hopeful with alot of prayer God will work something out in our lives where we can be more like Mary.. On this day we also talked about Sitting at his feet does not mean that you have to just sit and be still all though that would be nice:) some of the examples of Sitting at his feet are Quiet time in the morning with him, Quiet time at Bedtime with him, you can read his love letters (The Bible) you can sing and praise him, but I love how she encouraged us to let him be a part of our daily lives.. invite him to go grocery shopping, to the bank, the post office a drive across town, a walk how easy is that? So the next time you set out to run your errands invite him to go, I promise you he would love to!!Get ready to explore a deeper LOVE relationship with him!Day 3 talked about hearing his voice, God loves for us to desire him and in return he longs to desire our hearts with his love.Alot of times we are so preoccupied with our daily lives that we hear everyone Else's voice but Gods and we do not realize that he has spoken to us until after the fact! I loved this conversation we had last night. One of the ladies said how do you know what his voice sounds like? So many of us had so many wonderful examples and one said the more you grow with him you totally know his voice ex: just like talking to someone on the phone everyday and then they call and say hey you know who it is immediately.. Grow deeper with him and you will recognize his voice the minute you hear it!Day 4 title was My hearts longing Day 4 talked about he know our hearts longings way before we even voice it but he desperately wants you to pour your heart out to him! We talked about Hannah and how she prayed with her heart and not her mouth and he answered, It is so col to think that he is truly the only one who knows your heart and he longs to be the answer!Pour your heart out to him and he will hear you and answer, now remember it may not be the answer you are looking for but remember he know whats BEST for you~Trust HIM!!Day 5 Something More...I just really want to encourage each one of you to STAY FOCUSED on HIM and he will keep you fed and well watered:) God does cause us to be thirsty for him and I love that!! He can give us all we need if we just make sure to put him first in all we do! You are definitely first on his list!! If you need me to answer any other questions about any of the lessons we just went over or anything else please contact me! I want to make it clear as I can and help you grow with God! I can not wait to see you next week come back for more!!! Have a great week! I am praying for each one of you!!!
