Week 2.....A Less than Positive Attitude
`Well, this week was really a eye opener!! We talked about being POSITIVE instead of NEGATIVE... The word positive just sounds better when you say it:). The verse this week was Proverbs 16:24 and it says "Pleasant words are a honeycomb, sweet to the soul and healing to the bones.. If it is that easy then why are we so negative? I can honestly say I have never had one day where nothing but POSITIVE thoughts, words are actions took place.. how sad is that? and I am afraid that if it did I would not know how to react.. I would be like whats wrong? that is so bad!! Gods word says pleasant words are a honeycomb... sweet to the soul and healing to the bones.. come on.. how easy is that to please him!! just pleasant words.. try it and tell me how your life flows for just 24 hours try it!! see how people respond.. will they look at you like you are crazy or will it be a domino effect? On day 1 we read the story in Genesis about God asking Abraham to be obedient and move and he did with a positive attitude.. If we are obedient and follow Gods direction he will bless us!Be a faithful servant and watch him work. Day 2 was a good teaching tool the title is You become what you think.. what a good lesson for all of us even to teach our kids! This came out of Philippians 4: 4-9 verse 9 says The things you have learned and received and heard and seen in me. Practice these things and the PEACE of GOD will be with you.On page 26 different titles were listed and we talked about how we could be more positive in these areas of our lives. one was wife and a few of us said that we needed to be more encouraging and more supporting vocally with our husbands, the next was kids and some said they needed to be more positive and uplifting when their children were right , to co workers be more christian like to negative coworkers..I think in this conversation things were shared with one another and it was a time of feeling like yeah! I am not alone in these feelings~~ In different situations in our everyday life routine, we need to dwell on the POSITIVE instead of the NEGATIVE and replace the NEGATIVE with a POSITIVE!!Remember if you dwell on negative things, you will spout negative words and have negative facial expressions and body gestures. You can not think negatively and expect to act positively!!!Remember to become the POSITIVE person that GOD wants YOU to be YOU must first examine your negative thinking!to end Day 2 remember to REJOICE IN THE LORD ALWAYS. I WILL SAY IT AGAIN, REJOICE!!! Philippians 4:4....On Day 3 we talked about The POWER of GOD and how when we focus on GODS power in our lives he will help us grow a positive attitude~ You need to remember that GODS power is available to you at all times!Even the strongest of believers tend to forget that the power of Jesus Christ living within us enables us to be more CHRISTLIKE..Ephesians 1:20 tell us that He demonstrated this power in the Messiah by raising HIM from the dead and seating Him at HIS right hand in the heavens.. Think about that if he can do something like that, making you more positive is nothing:)Try to stay focused this week on HIS mighty power and remember it is already yours as you are his precious daughter!!Day 4 is the The Gift of his POWER .. Think about when you are having one of those days where nothing seems to go the right way and you get stressed and overwhelmed and frustrated and everyone you come in contact with gets on your last nerve.. Did you know that Satan is beind that every thought, word, look, action? pretty scary huh? Well the reason for that is because he loves to distract us and these distractions keep us from experiencing the peace of GOD which leads to a positive attitude and glorifying our Father.. Ephesians also states that because of GODS great love for us, we have been made alive in Christ and this new life of ours is a gift from GOD`..` Remember to give all your worries daily and he will take care of it.. Because believe me WORRY is nothing but Satan and giving it over to GOD that has all the power above all else it will be out of your hands and you will fall into his!! and now to Day 5 Being Positive in Negative circumstances.. wow! this is a hard one!! It is so hard to be positive when you are in a situation where everything is negative...God understands our inability and even our resistance to being positive when everything inside us feels negative. He knows that in our weakness we are not able to overlook all of life's negatives ad immediately jump into a positive lifestyle. He does not want us to ignore the facts if the negative situation but, he does want us to rely on HIS power to get us through one step at a time!!There are times when God may ask you to be POSITIVE and hopeful about a situation simply because he is GOD and HE is in charge of your life..God wants us to believe him first and without knowing the outcome of our situation!! WALK BY FAITH NOT BY SIGHT!! Our part is to believe and sometimes GOD wants us to mentally, emotionally and physically back off from a situation allowing HIM to reveal his glory!!`I pray that each one of you will have a more POSITIVE attitude and rely on GODS POWER.. I pray that when a NEGATIVE thought word or action comes your way that you will think twice before instantly responding or reacting! Think about this last statement HOW WOULD GOD RESPOND?? Good luck to all of you , I definitely know it will be a challenge for me!:) if you ever hear me say I am gonna snap.... run!!!!!!!! I am praying for all of you and can not wait to meet with yall again next Thursday.. Love you all!!

Week 1
Oh my goodness where do I start!! I am just amazed how God just makes himself known in our bible study! Last night was a incredible, convicting lesson, we talked about well, the first day was Mary Chose the One Best Thing Will I? and it was the story of Martha and Mary and how Martha was so distracted when Jesus came to visit that she didn't even sit down and Mary sat at his feet and listened with her her whole being and Martha got mad and told Jesus to get on to her but instead he reprimanded Martha and told her Mary was doing the right thing.. ouch!! But we all talked about who we were? Were we Martha's or Marys? Some were surprised that some were Martha's:) but that's OK...It is all our goal to be Mary's and hopefully we can be!! Day 2 talked about The Journey of Intimacy with Jesus! Ok we are still talking about Mary and Martha on this day and one of the questions was Have you ever felt that identifying with Mary is unrealistic for YOU? Alot of answers were yes but I long to be Mary so hopeful with alot of prayer God will work something out in our lives where we can be more like Mary.. On this day we also talked about Sitting at his feet does not mean that you have to just sit and be still all though that would be nice:) some of the examples of Sitting at his feet are Quiet time in the morning with him, Quiet time at Bedtime with him, you can read his love letters (The Bible) you can sing and praise him, but I love how she encouraged us to let him be a part of our daily lives.. invite him to go grocery shopping, to the bank, the post office a drive across town, a walk how easy is that? So the next time you set out to run your errands invite him to go, I promise you he would love to!!Get ready to explore a deeper LOVE relationship with him!Day 3 talked about hearing his voice, God loves for us to desire him and in return he longs to desire our hearts with his love.Alot of times we are so preoccupied with our daily lives that we hear everyone Else's voice but Gods and we do not realize that he has spoken to us until after the fact! I loved this conversation we had last night. One of the ladies said how do you know what his voice sounds like? So many of us had so many wonderful examples and one said the more you grow with him you totally know his voice ex: just like talking to someone on the phone everyday and then they call and say hey you know who it is immediately.. Grow deeper with him and you will recognize his voice the minute you hear it!Day 4 title was My hearts longing Day 4 talked about he know our hearts longings way before we even voice it but he desperately wants you to pour your heart out to him! We talked about Hannah and how she prayed with her heart and not her mouth and he answered, It is so col to think that he is truly the only one who knows your heart and he longs to be the answer!Pour your heart out to him and he will hear you and answer, now remember it may not be the answer you are looking for but remember he know whats BEST for you~Trust HIM!!Day 5 Something More...I just really want to encourage each one of you to STAY FOCUSED on HIM and he will keep you fed and well watered:) God does cause us to be thirsty for him and I love that!! He can give us all we need if we just make sure to put him first in all we do! You are definitely first on his list!! If you need me to answer any other questions about any of the lessons we just went over or anything else please contact me! I want to make it clear as I can and help you grow with God! I can not wait to see you next week come back for more!!! Have a great week! I am praying for each one of you!!!

A Encouraging Word from God xoxoxoxoxoxo
Good Afternoon! I hope that you all are enjoying this beautiful weather here today! I have all my windows and doors open and love to hear the chirping of the birds! This morning I took my puppy Max for a walk and we usually go a little over a mile well... this morning it was so pretty outside and the sun was shining and it was breezy and I really shared my heart with the Lord and I guess I was in a talking mood (imagine that..hmmmm) and I ended up walking 3.5 miles..Poor Max , he kept turning around and looking up at me like Mom... excuse me did you take a wrong turn... Mom, hello,,, my legs are a little shorter than yours:) and then finally Mom I have had enough and just sat down.. Do you ever wonder if that is how God is with us? As we keep walking and talking and going and going and we are just all consumed with what is happening in our world right then that he tries to get our attention and then just sits and waits for us to in Max's case pick him up and embrace him?? I think so!! His word tells us that he will never leave us or forsake us, that means he is always there! I do feel like if we are his #1 priority and there is sooooo many of us, we need to make it a priority to meet with him and embrace him everyday... There is only ONE of him!! Even though I was walking and talking to him today,I am so guilty of getting on with my day and totally not even saying Good Morning sometimes... that is so sad after all he does for me and gives me!! In this weeks study, our first fews days talk about Martha and Mary and how Mary sat at his feet and Martha was busy busy .. bet yall can't guess which one I take after?lol Well, all I can say is I can't wait to see what God has in store for all of us to hear and learn tomorrow night!! I can't wait to see all of you! Remember his word also says that if you seek the kingdom of God and His righteousness, then all these things will be provided for you!! how awesome is that!! See yall tomorrow!!

The Frazzled Female Introduction
We had a great turn out for our first night of Bible Study.. The room was decorated in Leopard print and had gift bags in leopard bags for each lady with all kinds of DeFrazzler items from journals, candles, lotion, tea and other items but, I think the item that was voted #1 was the CHOCOLATE.... oh yeah!! We all know that Chocolate can calm a woman's nerves, we all know that chocolate can calm some raging hormones so I have decided as the leader of this bible study we will all have a weekly dose of Chocolate and Gods Word and Friendship during the next 6 weeks of this study and my prayer is that we will all be De Frazzled by the end of our 6 week study:) I am praying at the end of the 6 weeks that we all agree that Gods Word is better than any chocolate we ever put in our mouths and can calm us down from anything that is going on in our lives.. The room was packed and I introduced myself and talked a little bit about my hectic ,Frazzled life and shared what this study was going to be about....I truly felt God moving in that room as we prayed and shared our hearts with laughs and tears..I can not wait to dig deep in this study with all of these precious ladies and watch how God moves in all of our hearts and lives!! This past week was just the introduction so the meat of the study will start on the 12th so if you were unable to make it or have a friend who would like to come please bring them!!! It is not to late!!! For those of you who have your workbook already, I encourage you to dive in and go deep in this study and be in his word everyday!! There is a Commitment sheet that we are all going to read and sign on the 12th and we are all going to hold each other accountable for staying committed to this study.. I can promise YOU that you will not be let down, this is going to be a fun night of learning and fellowship with God and other ladies that want the same things in their lives that you do and the answer to that is MORE OF GOD!!! Can't wait to see all of you on Thursday, please remember we will start just a few minutes after 7 and I hope:) to be finished by 8:30... Have a great week and know that I am praying for each one of you!!!
The Beginning
Wow! God is so Awesome!! We moved here on June 23, 2008 and I can honestly tell you that I have prayed daily that God would just put our family in a church similar to the one that we belonged to in St Louis and that we would all just really grow deeper with God in our daily walks.. I prayed for a awesome youth group for the boys with a group of kids that were really strong in their faith and I prayed that God would put me and Chuck in a Women and Men's bible study where we could dig deeper in his word and build friendships with other ladies and men who want the same.. Well, God answered our prayers.. We found a church named Servanthood Fellowship, it is a smaller church and very similar to where we came from and the pastor is so good, he preaches nothing but the TRUTH and right out of the BIBLE and keeps his congregations attention in every sermon he preaches! We leave every Sunday and every Wednesday night feeling like we have just been fed a 5 course meal:) The Youth Group is a so cool and I can honestly say I have never seen a group of kids who are so grounded in their faith and their relationship with Christ,it is so awesome.. I love that he planted us here and now my prayer is that my kids would just grow and build friendships with these kids who are great examples ! and so now!! my prayer has been answered... I asked a few ladies in the church.. do you have ladies bible studies? the answer was No I wish we did! The men do!! So at that very moment I think they probably were still talking..lol.. I started praying and asking God.. Is this what you want me to do? I have prayed everyday to you that you would just use me in some way to glorify you and to use me in this community to shine your light and so the light went on inside my head, and I talked to a lady who has been a member of the church since they started and it was so cool because she has been wanting to start a Women's Ministry and deeper into our conversation she says I have been praying that the Lord would just bring another lady to partner with me .. Well!! Here I AM!! and now her and I have become great friends and Soul Sisters:) I can honestly say I am so excited where God is going with us.. We both know that he has HUGE plans and we are about to bust to see how it all turns out!We started The Frazzle Female Bible Study last Thursday night and had a great turn out... Stay tuned for updates on The Frazzled Female... If you live in this area and would like to join us.. We meet on Thursday night at 7:00 at the church.. Come get Defrazzled with us!!!
